How to Use the Character Sheets

The Character Sheets (12k PDF file)

Using Main Sheet

Fill in the skills after you have completed character generation with the lifeline sheet. See below.

Using Combat Sheet part of Main Sheet

It is very helpful to fill this out before attempting to use the combat system. Flip through the first pages of the combat section and it will tell you how to compute the relevant numbers. All the weapon statistics are described in the arms and armor section.

Using Lifeline

This is used during the character generation process. It leaves you with a trace of what the character did throughout his or her life, and what was learned at any given time. It is a tool for creation, but paints a good picture of the character's history as well.

Fill in the skills learned for each year by putting a +1 for every point spent. Enter skill names in the far left wide column, and note the first year the skill was learned by drawing a line to that column. Put totals on far right. Copy totals to main character sheet as well. It is convenient to record profession changes at the top, and to record reasons for these changes in the notebox at the bottom.

Using Skill Sheet

Put in your total skills for easy reference. Get these totals off the lifeline sheet, which is the character creation aid.
